Tutor Circle will charge an administrative fee from the tutor, which equals to your tutoring fee of two-week predetermined tuition hours. 14 days is defined as the days of two-week agreements.
e.g. Suppose there is a student taking classes for two days per week, 2 hours per day, paying HKD$50 per hour, the calculation method of the administrative fee would be:
2 days x 2 weeks x 2 hours x HKD$50 = HKD$400 [Required administrative fee equals to HKD$ 400]
Charges of administrative fee are based on the tuition hour of regular lessons compromised by parents and Tutor Circle. The total amount of administrative charges will not be changed accordingly even if students or tutors temporarily miss lessons or change tuition hour for any reasons. If the number of regular tuition hour or tuition day increases, the total administrative fee will be adjusted accordingly. There is no bargaining areas for the above charging method. Tutors are only required to pay the administrative fee once for each case.
Evaluation Method of Administrative cost:
General case: two weeks of tuition fee not more than HKD$700
Group tutorial case: two weeks of tuition fee not more than HKD$500 (per student)
School teacher / music instrument tutor tutoring case: two weeks of tuition fee not more than HKD$1000
Tutors still need to pay for HKD$200 administrative fee when they withdraw from a case for any reasons (including sickness) 72 hours before the start of the first lesson. And if tutors withdraw their cases in 48 hours before the start of their lessons, Tutor Circle would charge them with the original amount of administrative fee. All fees should be settled within 72 hours.
Tutor Circle views "two-week predetermine tuition hour" as a standard. The calculation of administrative charges is based on the original tuition hours, rather than the actual number of tutoring sessions and hours in the first two weeks (or the average number of tutoring hours within four weeks). If parents decide to reduce the tuition hours in the future permanently, the company will consider reducing a partial administrative fee after discussion. Otherwise, we will only flexibly extend the deadline of charging date till the completion of the "two-week predetermine tuition hour" (original amount of adminstrative fees).

If parents request to reduce 1 lesson in the first week, the administrative fee will be charged within 3 days of the completion of the first class, and the amount will remain unchanged, which is HKD$ 400.
Under the company's terms and conditions, tutors can accept students' requests. However, tutors are absolutely responsible for notifying Tutor Circle of any tuition changes. If students request that they need to add more subjects, Tutor Circle will adjust the amount of administrative fees based on the latest updates on the number of lessons.
Example 1: Adding one more subject
A student found his / her Chinese Language tutor through Tutor Circle, and agreed to have lesson every Monday, 1.5 hours per lesson and the hourly tuition fee is $150. The students then directly confirmed with tutor to add one more subject --- English Language for tutoring. In total, the tutor is having a lesson with that student every Monday for 2 hours, while hourly rate remained unchanged. Under this condition, the administrative fee will be changed from $ 450 to $ 600, and the tutor must pay for the full $600 amount.
Example 2: Students have mentioned that they want to attend tutorial lessons for different subjects in separate lesson sessions when they first contact Tutor Circle
A students requested to separate his/her tutoring lessons for Chinese Language and English Language in different tutoring sessions. For example, the student has Chinese lesson on Monday and English lesson on Friday. The amount of administrative fees should be $ 450 for each subject. Tutor first confirms with the Chinese tutoring and paid $450 administrative fee, then confirms with the student or Tutor Circle for English tutoring as well. In this case, tutor must pay for the administrative fees of the two subjects separately, which is $900 in total for 2 subjects. The upper limit of administrative fee is only applicable to the calculation per subject.
